Nothing ever happened in Sea Port!

Most businesses closed long before dark, their county was dry so there hadn’t been a bar in the town since before Prohibition, and the Wi-Fi was so slow it seemed like it was buffering into this century. Small town living had never been exciting before the baker, the fire chief, and the new chief of police all moved in together and Jonah and the librarian had been spotted all over town with rumpled clothes and smeared lipstick.

The Sea Port gossip mill had been very busy in recent years. So busy they hadn’t yet noticed that Lisa Sullivan, the coffee shop proprietor, was crushing hard on the baker's apprentice, Bria Stone. Town gossips had also missed that Mayor Waltham has been acting just a bit strange lately.

Sully and Bria get closer over a fresh batch of Bria’s bagels, while a decades-old secret about the Waltham family comes to light.

The drama is good, but the bagels are better.
